Massel Better Bouillon Chicken Style
10-15 fresh garlic cloves
Butter
Massel Turkey Style Gravy

Remove neck and giblets, if present, from Turkey and rinse in warm running water. Pat dry and rub both inside and out with Massel Better Bouillon Chicken granules. Place whole garlic cloves and 1/2 tablespoon of butter under wings, legs and inside the turkey cavities. Stuff the turkey with your favorite stuffing and place on its breast in baking dish. Add a small amount of water to the baking dish before putting into a pre-heated oven. Cooking time will depend on the size of the turkey. As a general rule of thumb, allow 30 minutes per lb at approx. 325 F. but check the bird often and use a meat termometer for determining if the turkey is fully cooked. If you wish to cook it faster, covering the turkey with tin foil will reduce the cooking time almost in half. When the bird is cooked, remove the foil, place back in the oven and brown to your satisfaction. Throughout the cooking, baste the turkey every 30-45 minutes with the broth as per following instructions, which will enhance the flavour of the turkey and ensure the meat is moist and tender. As a starting point, make 2 cups dissolving 1 heaped teaspoon of Better Bouillon Chicken Style in 2 cups of hot water, and from there decide how much you will need. When the turkey is cooked, remove from the oven and allow to stand while uyou prepare Massel Turkey Gravy to be serviced with the meal. Follow the instructions on the tin. You can add the turkey's juces from the bottom of the baking dish, which will make the gravy even more delicious. Enjoy!

The size of the turkey will depend on how many people you will be serving. As an indication a size 12 turkey will serve 16 people.
